Riddhima Whabi has always been drawn to the ways stories and style shape our lives. She grew up in Dubai, where she lives with her husband and two sons, and also spends time at her home in Mumbai.
Her creative journey began in fashion; she studied fashion design and marketing and won her first award as the Swarovski Young Fashion Designer in 2001. She went on to co-found a label that quickly gained acclaim, with collections carried in international stores and worn by celebrated women from Fashion, Bollywood, and Hollywood for over 15 years.
After building a career in design, Riddhima returned to academia to pursue her love of reflection and philosophy. She earned a degree in philosophy from the University of London, completing her dissertation on the morality of fashion; exploring fashion as art, expression, cultural identity, and ethics. She also completed courses on the science of well-being (Yale) and on purpose and meaning (University of Michigan).
Riddhima founded The Celebration Foundation, an initiative that celebrated milestones for underprivileged children. She consults as Brand Director for RocketLinen, a luxury home linen brand, bringing her design and branding knowledge to lifestyle ventures.
Drawing on her lifelong interests in style, self-expression, and mindful living, she is now exploring authorship and reflective writing. She brings together her insights from fashion, philosophy, and personal growth to create content that encourages readers to explore identity, creativity, and intentional living.
Riddhima feels grateful for having the opportunity to pursue what she loves, and to be able to share this joy with those closest to her, whether through her work, family, or personal growth.
